the month when the most sturgeon, a type of large fish, was caught. Meet at the Ruffner Road gate on the Irondale side of the mountain and hike to the wetlands to enjoy the glow of the moon and refreshments. Leashed dogs welcome. This is a flat, 2 mile trail.
